Living Museum
× Open
Invitational
June 15–20, 2026
An international exhibition platform for progressive studios, Living Museums, and artists with disabilities.
Living Museum × Open Invitational brings together progressive studios, Living Museums, artists, and socially engaged art organizations from across Europe and the United States.
Initiated by curator and gallerist David Fierman and Ross McCalla, Open Invitational was created to expand visibility, access, and cultural recognition for artists with disabilities and artists working within progressive studio environments.
Hosted in Basel in partnership with the Living Museum Society, the exhibition connects a growing international network of creative communities dedicated to art, care, mental health, inclusion, and cultural participation.
Across exhibitions, performances, tours, and public conversations, Living Museum × Open Invitational presents art as a force for visibility, empowerment, connection, and social change.
